Kungsparken dates from the mid-1800s and is Malmö’s oldest park. It was built on land that was previously part of Malmöhus Castle’s fortifications.
The park was designed by the Danish landscape architect O Hoegh Hansen. The park is modelled on the continent’s parks and has a romantic character.
